MARK’s strategy is exemplified most prominently by Promenaden, Oslo - a 75,000 sqm portfolio of prime retail and office assets in the heart of the city. Through a targeted repositioning strategy, MARK introduced many of the world’s leading luxury brands, rationalised retail space, and elevated the district into Oslo’s premier luxury shopping destination. Nedre Slottsgate, often described as “The Bond Street of Oslo,” is now home to nine of the ten most valuable luxury brands globally, including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, and Prada—many of which were brought to the city through Promenaden Management, acquired by a MARK fund in 2016.

MARK has also revitalised the iconic Steen & Strøm department store, transforming it into a thriving hub for luxury fashion and food. Recent enhancements include two new fashion floors and a 7,500 sq.ft Tech Hall hosting over 600 brands, along with a full suite of digital production facilities.
