MARK Capital Management (‘MARK’), an independent pan-European real estate investment and asset manager, has announced two appointments.
Rodney Hunt has joined as a UK Vice President within the investment and asset management division of Crossbay, the specialist urban logistics strategy of MARK. Based in Manchester, England, he brings over 20 years of experience across key regional UK markets.
Prior to joining MARK, Hunt was a Director at Canmoor, a UK-focused industrial asset and development manager. There, he managed an over 4m sq. ft. portfolio of investment and development assets, working with capital partners that included a North American pension scheme and private equity real estate managers.
Before Canmoor, Hunt was an Investment Director at Property Alliance Group, a private investor and developer focused on Northwest England, and Epsilon Real Estate Partners, a family office-backed UK-wide investor and developer.
Nnes Ajukwu has joined as Senior Associate in the Client Solutions team at MARK, where she will focus on investor communications and fundraising initiatives. She previously worked in Investor Relations at Castleforge, a UK-focused real estate fund manager, and started her career as a capital markets lawyer at global law firm Clifford Chance LLP.
Rodney Hunt, Vice President – UK, investment and asset management, Crossbay at MARK Capital Management, said: “Crossbay has carved out a market-leading position in European urban logistics thanks to its ability to unlock a granular asset class through a deeply embedded network of local on-the-ground teams across its target markets. I look forward to playing a key role in building Crossbay’s UK presence and creating value for our investors across the portfolio.”
Nnes Ajukwu, Senior Associate – Client Solutions at MARK Capital Management, said: “MARK has a proven ability to create differentiated strategies within niche segments of Europe’s most in-demand sectors – living and logistics – and I look forward to working with the team in showcasing some of the most compelling opportunities in European real estate to a global investor audience.”
Established in 2004, MARK has managed close to €20bn in private real estate across all major asset classes and core European markets.
Today, MARK operates across three core verticals – urban logistics (Crossbay), residential, and retail – while also providing third-party asset management and development management services, the latter through its Assembly redevelopment platform, which specialises in urban repurposing projects.
